Terms of use
Last updated 6 October 2026
By using Conquest of Pages you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.
Your library and your responsibility
Your data is stored in your own browser. We cannot see it and cannot recover it if it is lost — clearing browser data, changing device or a browser fault can all erase it. Keep backups (Settings → Download backup). The app is provided free, as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or error-free.
Information from other sources
Book details, covers, authors' birthplaces and species photos come from public services (see the privacy policy) and can be incomplete or wrong — an author may be placed in the wrong town, a page count may be off. Everything the app places can be corrected by you. Facts about species and rivers are written for general interest, not as scientific or professional advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, or to put excessive load on it or on the public services it relies on (for example by automated scraping).
Content you enter
Notes, ratings and tags you write stay with you; we claim no rights over them. They are stored only on your device.
Our content
The design, text and software of Conquest of Pages belong to the site's operator. Geographic data is from Natural Earth (public domain); other data sources keep their own licences, listed in the app's Settings.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including loss of data. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows when. Continued use means you accept the current version.
